Shop User Guidelines
These guidelines are individual provisions based on Article 1, Paragraph 3 of the Nyanko Database Terms of Service. If the Terms of Service and these guidelines differ, these guidelines take precedence.
1. How revenue is shared
When a general user spends NC on a monthly cat support plan payment or as a tip, the amount is distributed to the shop user in Japanese yen based on the formula below.
Distribution to shop = NC used × ¥1.7 × 50%
| NC conversion rate | 1 NC = ¥1.7 |
|---|---|
| Shop distribution rate | 50% |
| Eligible for distribution | Cat support plan payments and tips |
| Not eligible | Use of other features |
| Rounding | Amounts under ¥1 are rounded up and distributed to the shop |
Example calculation
- 500 NC cat support plan → 500 × 1.7 × 50% = ¥425
- 333 NC tip → 333 × 1.7 × 50% = 283.05 → ¥284 (rounded up)
Regardless of how the NC was obtained (web purchase, app purchase, free grants via campaigns, etc.), the amount distributed to the shop is the same. For payments and tips made with NC granted through campaigns, we distribute at the same rate at our own expense.
2. Cat support plan billing timing
- The day a general user subscribes to a plan is the base date, and the NC balance is automatically charged on the same day each month.
- (Example) Subscribed on the 12th → next charge on the 12th of the following month
- For months without that date (e.g., subscribed on the 31st when the next month has only 30 days), the charge is made on the last day of that month.
3. Payout schedule
| Closing date | Last day of each month |
|---|---|
| Payout date | The 25th of the following month |
| Weekends and holidays | Paid on the next business day |
We total the distributions accrued from the 1st to the last day of the month and pay them out on the 25th of the following month.
4. Minimum payout amount
| Minimum payout amount | ¥3,000 |
|---|
- If the payable amount at the closing date is under ¥3,000, it is carried over to the following month or later.
- There is no expiration date on carried-over amounts.
5. Transfer fee
| Paid by | Shop user |
|---|---|
| Fee amount | The amount we specify (shown in the admin panel) |
| Deduction method | Deducted from the payout amount |
Example calculation
If the payable amount is ¥5,000 and the transfer fee is ¥330:
¥5,000 − ¥330 = ¥4,670 (actual payout amount)
6. Payout bank account
- Shop users shall register their payout bank account information from the admin panel of this service.
- If a transfer is not completed due to incorrect account information, the fee for the re-transfer shall be borne by the shop user.
7. Featuring posted content
We may feature content posted by shop users to this service (cat photos, shop information, etc.) in pickups on the service’s top page, on our social media accounts, and elsewhere.
