Terms of Service

Article 1 (Application)

These Terms define the conditions for using "Nyanko Database" (hereinafter referred to as "the Service") operated by Kamineko, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company"). Users (hereinafter referred to as "Users") shall use the Service in accordance with these Terms.

Article 2 (User Registration)

Applications for user registration shall be made in the manner prescribed by the Company after agreeing to these Terms.

Article 3 (Management of User ID and Password)

Users shall appropriately manage their user ID and password for the Service at their own responsibility.

Article 4 (Prohibited Acts)

Users shall not engage in the following acts when using the Service:

• Acts that violate laws or public order and morals
• Acts related to criminal activities
• Acts that destroy or interfere with the functions of servers or networks
• Acts that may interfere with the operation of the Service
• Acts of collecting or storing personal information about other users
• Acts of unauthorized access or attempts thereof
• Acts of impersonating other users
• Acts that infringe on the intellectual property rights, portrait rights, privacy rights, honor, or other rights or interests of third parties
• Acts of posting or transmitting false or misleading information

Article 5 (Suspension of Service Provision, etc.)

The Company may suspend or discontinue all or part of the Service without prior notice to users if it determines that any of the following reasons exist.

Article 6 (Disclaimer)

The Company does not expressly or implicitly guarantee that the Service is free from defects in fact or law (including defects related to safety, reliability, accuracy, completeness, effectiveness, suitability for a particular purpose, security, errors or bugs, infringement of rights, etc.). In addition, medical information such as disease information for cat breeds provided by the Service is for general information purposes only and is not a substitute for diagnosis, treatment, or advice by a professional such as a veterinarian.

Article 7 (Changes to Service Content, etc.)

The Company may change the content of the Service or discontinue the provision of the Service without notice to users, and shall not be liable for any damage caused to users as a result.

Article 8 (Changes to Terms of Service)

The Company may change these Terms at any time without notice to users if it deems it necessary.

Article 9 (Intellectual Property Rights)

All intellectual property rights for all content (including but not limited to text, images, videos, audio, etc.) displayed in the Service belong to the Company or legitimate rights holders. Some of the images used in the Service are obtained from Wikimedia Commons and are used in accordance with their respective license conditions.

Article 10 (User-Generated Content)

With respect to content posted by users to the Service (photos, reviews, comments, etc.), users grant the Company a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, transferable license to use, reproduce, distribute, create derivative works, display, and perform.

Article 11 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

These Terms shall be governed by Japanese law. In the event of a dispute regarding the Service, the Tokyo District Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
